A Little Help From My Friends

EDIT 31/1/13: I understand the 'IKEA babies' bit is getting a fair bit of love these days, which I'm very happy about. Just please remember, if you must reference it in your own work/anywhere on DA, give a little bit of credit yeah? XDDD I feel stupid for even having to get protective over this, but really, it doesn't hurt to give a mention no? XD You wouldn't go claiming that you own any of the characters, so why pretend someone else's idea was yours?

(For the record, some people have used it, and I'm aware of it because I either asked them to do it in a prompt, or they asked. End of. XD )


So here's a little something I've been working on since, well, 2012 (end of December, it still counts!). XD Insert any 'it's taken you a year to do this?' comments as you will.

Long story short, I wanted to say a thank you to a couple of people who, whether they've realised it or not, have been of great help/generally awesome to me recently. 8D At no point would I ever consider myself one of the best on DA so it's very flattering to hear that people like the things I draw regardless. XD I could have done all this much quicker in a journal entry, but let's face it, having our dysfunctional five do it for me seemed like much more fun. (Yup, that's me at the end. By the powers granted to the average fanartist, I am able to annoy the majority by throwing myself in with your favourite characters whenever I feel appropriate. It probably won't be the last you see of me either. ;D )

I'll apologise in advance for any incorrect information, spelling mistakes, dodgy proportion or if you didn't get referred to by your favourite Nordic, I did try and give you each someone/a few people you might like, but it can't be helped that there are certain characters who are loved a little more. XD; The people mentioned are (in their order of reference in the deviation):



I want you to check them all out, each of them has something which makes them rather awesome, be it their OCs, fan art or literature, but above all they're very lovely people. 8D

There's a lot more I want to comment on here, but to narrow it down: Denmark, you're a very naughty man. <3 ;D All that hassle over a bit of fanfiction, which, for the wonderful writer's information, he very much enjoyed. What'll happen between Sweden and Denmark next I wonder...?

You'll probably notice the trolling of Iceland has continued from where we left off in the Nordic 5 meme, with extra references to it thrown in here and there as well. ;D

8D I may have 'accidently' put Norway in an outfit resembling that of a certain Eurovision winner's. Sorry Norwegian deviants. XD

Oh, and deepest apologise for my handwriting. It's painful enough until you have to read Sweden talk in it, and then it just gets ridiculous.
